mom Im fine.

Malo Soifua Aiga!

Well an interesting week but first off I'll just say that I'm completely safe. It was just heavy wind and rain in my area but we are all goods. Here is the update:
-The storm came and so we were told to all go in our houses at 6 pm on Saturday.
It came and went though, it really wasn't bad in my area. The following Sunday was actually really sunny. I was just laughing because my soa kept singing "Samoa Salamo!!!" (Repent Samoa) haha

-No transfer, I am officially finishing my mission in Navu. My companion finishes the 3rd and then I finish the 17th of June. Our ward is pretty stoked :)

-Elder Pearson of the Presidency of the Area came and talked to us. It was really cool and he emphasized the importance of us being agents rather than objects, as well as the importance of focus. I took some good notes and have been trying to apply it into my proselyting.

-All is going well here, I'm just ready for another week of work. We should have 2 more baptisms this week if everything works out, but I'll let you all know next week. Ana Sakalia -was referred by a ward member, Fa'aiuga - just came to church one sunday after we fasted (cool experience)

-thanks for the pics :) You all look pretty much the same except for Rian and Thayne, so tall!!!!

-Send my love to the Browns as well!

-My arm is getting better but I definitely want real medical care when I get home haha all is goods though.

I hope you all have a great week and enjoy the picture of me laying on my bed during the storm :)

My comp keeps telling me its my blood

Malo Soifua Aiga!

Well a pretty normal week here, really not as exciting as Tanner's earthquake story.
Here is the update:

-We are currently doing the review lessons for all of our recent converts. One of whom, Leala, was cracking me up the other day. He is 73 and is hilarious but he was telling me how much he enjoyed General Conference because he finally got to here from Tomasi or Thomas S. Monson.
I was dying because he was like, "Matuai sekia le fa'aSamoa o Tomasi!" (Thomas has really good Samoan) hahaha we kind of just went along with it so I'm pretty sure that all of the apostles as well as the prophet are fluent in Samoan haha it was really funny :)

-transfers are Wednesday. We are just waiting for the calls today, so we will see what happens.

- No cool animal bites. Im just trying to figure out how to get everything home. Everyone keeps giving me stuff and or promising to give me stuff. I really love the ward members here :)

-We gave talks in church yesterday. They were about 10 minutes each. Everyone said that we did a good job and I think it went well. Happy to be done with it though haha

All is going goods here, I'm just trying to figure out if I finish here or if I'm heading out. Mixed emotions because I have been here for 5 months but I really love the wards, I'll go where I need to go though.

I love you all and hope you all have a great week

P.S.
-I've got a cool rash thing going on again on my arm. Doctor said it is either ringworm or just from the weather,  She gave me an  anti-fungal cream and an anti-hystmine in case it is an allergic thing (which I don't think it is) My comp keeps telling me its my blood, which shows his medical knowledge….

so I bought 2 new shirts because two are way old and I think may be giving me the rash...haha I just bought it in town cheaper than you all sending me a box so no worries I just wanted to let you know what that charge was :)

Sister Bike' s tire popped

Malo Soifua Aiga!

A pretty normal week, not too shabby just kinda average.

Here is the update:

-Sister Bike' s tire popped so I'm trying to switch it for a new one :) We will see though.

-We had to push a baptism back but hopefully it'll happen soon.

-Conference was fantastic! Uchtdorf was on fire haha I totally thought of Dad and his side of the family when he said, "for those of you who don't speak the Celestial language it means…" haha

-Also I loved Jeffrey R. Holland's talk and it really helped me get excited for this week of work.

No matter where we are at, Our Heavenly Father is happy with any improvement that we do make and we should always keep trying because Heaven is cheering for us.
A powerful message. :)

- Tell Haley congrats on the papers and Rian congrats on the catapult. Thayne stop growing!!! haha

All is going well here, it is just pouring rain. I hope you all have a great week though.

It is amazing here…..

As promised, me on my sister bike

Malo Soifua Aiga!

It was a pretty good week all in all. Not really too much to report. I am happy and healthy and hope that you all are as well. Here is the update:
-Yesterday was fast sunday for us. We don't get conference till this week because of the time change so don't tell me anything haha. I had a cool experience though. My companion and I have been looking for new investigators and so we decided to fast for some. It was so cool because that sunday we got a new investigator who came to church :) It just goes to show that there is power in prayer and fasting.

-We have been doing a lot of exchanges with the youth in our ward, which I have really enjoyed. My companion and I basically finish together so I is nice to give back and help guys who are preparing to serve.

-seriously it is amazing here it is going to be really hard when I go home

All is good here, I'm happy that all is going well at home. I hope you all have a great week :)

My companion made sure to harass me about it..

Malo Soifua Aiga!

A pretty busy week so here is the update:

-We had two baptisms this week which went great. Eseta Vaai and Leala Tautalaaso To'omalatai. It was a really cool experience. Eseta has been waiting for 3 years to baptized so I am grateful that it all worked out for her :)

-We have officially gotten bikes. The only thing that is lame is that mine is a sister's bike….my companion made sure to harass me about it... It makes it worse because its purple and my comps is white...it's cool.

-The Easter program went well and I really was grateful to have a way to remember the Savior this Easter :)

All is going well here. I really don't need anything but remember how you had wanted to send me a box? could you send one to another missionary for me instead? Sister Tofilau is going to be serving in the Eugene Oregon Mission. She left this week and we are really close with her family. It is really hard to send stuff from here so instead of sending me something could you send her a care package of food and stuff? Thanks so much :)

I hope you all have a great week :)

The work is going Great!

Malo Soifua Aiga!

A pretty good week all the way around. Very busy which I am grateful for :) Here is the update:

-Saturday we had the baptisms of the Nielsen family. It was such an amazing experience! The father of the family had been baptized a long time a go  but just recently decided to come back to church and bring his whole family with him. He baptized his wife and four of his children. I'm so grateful that I was able to meet them and be a part of their conversion process :).

-At the baptism, one of the lo'omatuas (old lady) smart phone went off and she tried so hard to get it to stop. It wasn't happening and finally someone went over and shut it off for her. I don't know why but it was so funny to me :)

- My health is actually great! I haven't been sick this whole transfer ( knock on wood). We are actually going to go to an Easter devotional in our ward and sing in it so it should be cool. Our songs:

-honestly I am completely fine. My ward loves us and they really spoil us. The work is going great and we get fantastic support from the members.

All is good here I'm just enjoying another P-day. I hope you all have a great week.

Malo Soifua Aiga,

A pretty normal week. Nothing really to report. A lot of rain and dirty proselyting shirts haha. But all is going good here and I am looking forward to seeing you all.

Chillin at the Church

The baptisms are all still on and the Mission President as well as his counselor will be in attendance. (no pressure). All is going good here and I'll make sure to give a longer report next week. I hope you all have a great week :)

Dang no Crosbys….

Malo Soifua Aiga,

Well not a very long report today. But here it goes:

-I did not get transferred. I am still in Navu (Vaivase itai) but Elder Wolz got transferred to Mulifanua. he became a trainer and is white-washing the area so he was freaking out a bit but I know he will do good. I'm currently with Elder Tafeaga still, but I think he may be leaving because this is his old stake.

-It was hard-out pouring this week so the work was slow, but great new is that we are currently teaching a family and they all want to get baptized! We have planned for the 19 of March so hopefully it all goes through :)

- I think the ring worm is going away.

Dang, it sounds like everything is changing back home. I'm definitely going to miss the good old Grove 2nd ward but hopefully, dang no Crosbys... I'll still see a bunch of people at my homecoming. All is going good here. I love you all and hope you have a great week.
