I am no longer a teenager!

JANUARY 3, 2016

Malo Soifua Aiga!

Well an eventful yet uneventful week. So weird to think that I am no longer a teenager! Here is the update:

-I had a fantastic birthday! We had our normal proselyting but that night we went over to our family's house. They totally made me a bomb birthday cake and tons of Samoan food :) It was a birthday well-spent and I am so very grateful to be surrounded by such loving people who take good care of me. :)

One of my moms. Teuila Fitisimanu.

-I found a Katana (Samurai Sword). Just saying, pretty awesome haha.

-Baptisms didn't happen because we have to help one with an issue and the other got busy with work, so hopefully we will get one this week...I've learned that if I have a plan or a schedule set up I am 100x more effective.

-We got the flu this week, but are all goods now so don't worry, I used the pills that you had already sent. Comp and area are both solid.

That's it for this week. Pretty crazy knowing that I can say that I finish my mission this year...It has been an amazing ride and I look forward to finishing strong and making this a great year :) I love you all and hope you have a great week :)

Malo Soifua Aiga!

Well really nothing to report because we all just talked. I have been thinking about is ASU. (Which I'm sure you are all happy to hear) Mom could you please look into school start date? The whole no shorts thing for BYU I is a huge turn-off haha

Anyways all is good here. We have 2 baptisms planned for this Saturday so hopefully it will all go through. They were the Sisters old investigators, which was really cool. I love you all and hope to get to chat pretty soon.

DECEMBER 20th

Malo Soifua Aiga!

Sorry that it has taken so long to email today. All day we have been practicing to sing for Christmas Eve. We have a big part in the program for the Valu Aso Christmas program. Anyways I hope all is going well with all of you, here is the update:

-I ran into Lupa Apelu she is related to Naumu, Gladys's husband. It was funny because I was like, "oh I know Gladys  and Channy!" and she was really surprised haha Just goes to show that Samoa is such a small island haha.

-I will be calling home on the 26th here (Christmas day for you all). I'm pretty sure it is a 21-hour difference so I will try for like 10:30 or 11 here which is like 2ish there. So be expecting a call around then :)

-last P-day we went and learned the process of making cocoa Samoa. It was really cool and afterwards we drank our own cocoa :) Enjoy the pics :)

All is going well here, really just very busy. But I am really looking forward to hearing from all of you :)
I hope you all have a great week :)
